We’ve been here in Churchdown since 1978, looking after the Cheltenham and Gloucester communities for more than 45 years. We’re a true family practice, caring for newborns, children, adults, and older generations alike.

Whether it’s for your newborn baby, an older family member, or anyone in between, the cranial approach is a safe and gentle way of working with the body. Treatments use light-touch, precise techniques at the gentlest end of the osteopathic spectrum. We don’t force the body to move, and we rarely use manipulations such as joint “clicking” or “cracking.”

Many people choose this approach because they find it relaxing, supportive, and suitable for all ages.

At Churchdown Osteopaths, you’re supported by more than one pair of hands. We cover for one another when needed and support each other through mentoring and sharing experience, so your care is continuous and enriched by the collective knowledge of the whole team.

Occasionally, for more complex problems, two osteopaths may decide to treat you together in the same appointment. This is always at the osteopaths’ discretion. Having two perspectives allows us to share our experience more directly, which many patients find especially helpful. If this happens, you’ll simply pay the normal treatment fee (unless the osteopaths involved normally charge different rates).

Our clinic is easy to reach, midway between Cheltenham and Gloucester and close to the M5. You’ll find us in a modern, welcoming ground-floor practice with parking right outside and level access into the building.

Our friendly reception team are always on hand to greet you and make your visit straightforward from the moment you arrive.

We now offer access to a qualified lactation consultant, Anna Wilson, who works from our clinic one day a week. She provides expert support with infant feeding and breastfeeding, including tongue-tie assessment and division where needed.

This complements our osteopathic care for babies and postnatal mums, offering joined-up support in a calm and familiar setting. Find out more here.
